This is what a cherry blossum looks like close up. Yes they are that pink and yes the sky was that blue. It was a gorgeous day today, but the streets are jammed with tourists! So now that youy have seen the flowers (and I will have other photos later) you don't need to come to DC to see them.But if you do come, be prepared to stand in long lines and take a long time in traffic. It was a mess today.

Cherry blossum Close up
This is what a cherry blossum looks like close up. Yes they are that pink and yes the sky was that blue. It was a gorgeous day today, but the streets are jammed with tourists!
